We need more empathy in relationships, but don't feel obligated to stick around until your partner gets themselves together! That shadow work is for them to do on their own, you can't change someone who doesn't want to change.
In the black community, we need to stop battling our oppressions, we are all oppressed equally. If we come together, we will see true change !
